I had an MRI on my shoulder and selected Elder Athlete for my PT. I made the right choice. Dr. Marie Stagg is knowledgeable, attentive to all of the ‘small things’ that are often missed, and addressed the muscles and movements for the sport that I wanted to return to pain-free. She showed me which muscles and tendons were affected using a robust online tool of the human body and reading the MRI. The office is private, well-equipped, and very comfortable. At 63, I had neck surgery back and front, the last of which continued to cause me neck pain and forward head. Marie Stagg’s expert treatment and prescription of daily exercises have alleviated the pain so much I can walk 5 miles now without being hobbled by neck pain. She’s always available when I need a tune-up. She’s extensively trained, affable, and most accommodating. I’m very impressed by her new location, with all of its many features. I’m not a golfer, but I can only imagine the excitement one would feel using her state of the art equipment to get the best out of your game. Dr. Marie Stagg is outstanding, very knowledgeable, thorough and diligent in her approach. I’d contacted Marie after experiencing great discomfort and a lack of flexibility in my left shoulder, could not lift my arm and very painful. She scheduled me into her office immediately and saved the day. Her diagnosis was on target and the physical therapy sessions were well organized and very effective. I was back to normal in a matter of weeks. My issues were based on a “lifting” issue and not Golf, but I was also impressed with the Golf related equipment and resources she offers in her office, perhaps another day. I regained mobility in my arm and neck!

I suffered a pinched neck nerve. I could not raise my right arm and was in extreme pain. Marie diagnosed the problem quickly and I started to get relief on my first office visit. What a relief! After a few visits, my pain and discomfort were gone. I highly recommend Dr. Marie.

Simply Put: In one visit I got major relief from shoulder pain after almost a year of incorrect diagnosis and sleepless nights. Dr. Stagg really knows her stuff and within minutes diagnosed a partially torn rotator cuff injury. She showed me simple exercises that allow proper lubrication and encourage quicker healing of the injured shoulder. There was an immediate improvement for me.
